10 Points Unconference (2025)
I was invited to take part in the 10 Points Unconference, held in Catania from June 5 to 7, where around forty journalism professionals from more than ten countries gathered to discuss the future of local journalism. Organized by Sicilian Post and Pagella Politica, with the support of CNTI, the European Journalism Centre, and FT Strategies, the event featured open, participant-led discussions guided by international experts including Laura Silvia Battaglia, Lars Boering, Richard Gingras, Mehdi Lebouachera, Lisa MacLeod, Amy Mitchell, and Cheryl Phillips.
Columbia M.S. Journalism Program – City Newsroom (2025)
I attended a City Newsroom class at Columbia Journalism School, where I joined program alumni to explore approaches to covering local news through multimedia. We discussed strategies for reporting, planning, and producing video projects for both broadcast and social media platforms.
UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism (2025)
I took part in a Digital Research and Investigative Journalism workshop, where I explored best practices for interviewing people affected by trauma and those in vulnerable situations, focusing on empathy, sensitivity, and ethical storytelling.
